What's a Convention of States Anyway?
Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our Convention of States would allow the states to discuss amendments that would limit the power and jurisdictions of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.
As a constitutional coach, Kelly knows the importance of armed citizens with the knowledge of the law. Patriot Academy inspires citizens across the country to be trained in the Constitutional Foundations of Freedom. At Patriot Academy, you learn to analyze through the lens of these liberty principles (LIFT):
L - Limited Government, I - Individual Liberties,
F - Free Enterprise, T - Timeless Truths.
Patriot Academy's curriculum is for all ages. Our society lacks basic civics education and understanding of the values that made America the most successful nation in history.
