Public Safety

Police and emergency vehicles with flashing lights at night.

As a first responder, my duty has always been to ensure the safety and security of our neighborhoods. I believe in bolstering our law enforcement agencies with the resources they need to keep our streets safe.  Additionally, I will work to strengthen community-police relations, fostering an environment of trust and cooperation.

Cost of Living, Jobs & Wages

I will fight to create good-paying jobs, raise wages, and ease the cost of living for every family in our district. That means supporting local businesses, attracting new employers, expanding job training, and making sure workers have the skills they need to compete for better opportunities. I will also push for policies that help lower housing, utility, grocery, and transportation costs so hardworking people can keep more of what they earn. My goal is simple: to build an economy where work is rewarded, paychecks go further, and families can afford to live, grow, and succeed.

Education & School Options

Education & School Options

I firmly believe that parents know their children best.  They should have the right to choose the educational path that aligns with their child's learning style, interests, and values.  Whether it is public, private, charter, homeschooling, or alternative education, parents should be empowered to select what's best for their children's growth and success.

Healthcare Access

Education & School Options

I will work to make healthcare and mental health care more accessible, affordable, and effective. That means expanding access to physicians, therapists, and treatment options, reducing wait times, and ensuring proper care is given before a crisis becomes an emergency. I will support policies that lower prescription and insurance costs, strengthen local clinics, and improve care for veterans, seniors, and working families.

Veterans & Homeless Care

Our veterans deserve more than gratitude — they deserve results. I will work to expand access to housing, mental health care, job training, and emergency support for veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness. We need practical partnerships that connect people to stable housing, dignity, and a path forward.

Informed Decision Making & Consent

Colorful word cloud centered on decision making concepts.

As parents, you have the right to be fully informed about your child’s medical options. Medical professionals should serve as trusted advisors, providing clear information and guidance so families can make decisions that reflect their values and beliefs.

No medical procedure should be performed on a child without the explicit informed consent of a parent or legal guardian. Parents must retain authority over decisions involving vaccinations, medical treatment, and other healthcare interventions. I am committed to supporting policies that protect parental rights and affirm your role in your child’s healthcare.

Abortion & Question 6

Hands knitting a DNA strand with knitting needles.

Current Nevada Statutes                   NRS 442.240 - 442.270, allow for abortion up to 24 weeks (6 months).

NRS 442.250 (c) and (3) describe abortion allowed after 24 weeks as based on a physician's best clinical judgment concerning the pregnant woman's life, health, or mental health.

--------------------------------

 Question 6

Removes parental involvement by extending abortion rights to “all individuals,” including minors, men, and judges to decide for pregnant women as well.  It eliminates parental consent or notification. It also weakens safety standards by replacing “licensed physician” with  “healthcare practitioner,” who are also given the right to determine fetal viability.  Abortion is not reproductive healthcare.

Women's Sports

Sports should be fair and safe for biological women of every age. They should reward effort, discipline, and dedication. When biological males compete in biological women’s sports, it can create an unfair advantage because of differences in size, strength, and speed.  It can also affect competition outcomes and opportunities, including scholarships, grants, loans, and other financial awards, when decisions are based on equity quotas rather than fair performance and competition.

Oppose Higher Taxes And Bigger Government

Families deserve a government that is accountable, efficient, and focused on the essential services people rely on every day. While important services must be funded responsibly, we should avoid unnecessary spending and tax increases that place added burdens on working people, small businesses, and local employers. Government should operate with discipline, reduce waste, and live within a fiscally responsible budget so families can keep more of what they earn and communities can continue to grow and prosper.

Energy Sources

I support an energy strategy that puts Nevadans first: affordable solar, reliable geothermal, dependable natural gas, and modern storage that keeps the lights on and costs under control.  This is not about ideology — it is about lower bills, stronger reliability, good-paying local jobs, and the energy security families and businesses need to thrive

Building Stronger Communities

Our neighborhoods thrive when we come together.  I am dedicated to promoting community engagement initiatives that encourage collaboration, communication, and a sense of belonging for every resident.  By working together, we can create a safer and higher quality of life in our communities.

Trustworthy Leadership

My track record as a first responder reflects my unwavering commitment to the well-being of our community.  With integrity, dedication, and a fresh perspective, I will be a voice for progress and positive change in our government.

Together, we can bridge the gap between first-hand experience and effective policy-making.  Let's bring resilience to leadership!
